Let me entertain you ...
Hello, lovely readers! I’m the voice behind the curtain, the author. Thanks for being here. I'm excited to share this story with you as it comes to life as well as the true stories, odd encounters and hauntings that helped inspire it. As I move through the process of launching my book, this is where you’ll find everything you need. Curious about my own experiences with hauntings and ghosts? They’ll be here. Want the real stories the book is rooted in? Here. Something strang

The Next Step Begins
The first round of edits is officially complete, and my beta readers have begun their descent into the story. It’s a strange feeling — handing over a world I’ve been shaping in the dark — but it’s time. While they read, I’ll be here, sharing the real stories, odd encounters, and hauntings that helped bring this book to life.

Almost Twenty-One
"Once Upon a Midnight Erie" consists of twenty-six chapters. The editing process, a meticulous endeavor where every word and detail is crucial, and each scene must be effective, has been underway for nearly nine months. The Visitor
The famous shower scene from Psycho has survived multiple decades. It's been redone countless times. It makes perfect sense. It's because there's almost no other place or time when one feels more vulnerable. My showers tend to be pretty utilitarian, usually because I'm running late. Unfortunately, it’s a constant theme in my life. I do my best to multitask to minimize this less than desirable trait. For instance, while showering I usually run through random checklists in my h

The Franklin Castle
Evil has a way of slowly creeping in, undetected. It comes without words, hype or trumpets blaring. Instead, it hides quietly in the background, slowly changing, stealthily altering ideas, facts, basic elements until before we know it, there's a change we never even realize happened. It's something we don't question. Something that seems as if it "always was" But the fact is, it always "wasn't". I did a lot of research when it came to The Franklin Castle. It was a proposed ch
