The story writes itself?
The story writes itself?

It's not as if the book writes itself. Yet it does, in a way. It's hazy at first and I fervently write down the images and scenes that are forming in my mind. Next comes the fine tuning. After that, editing, adding, subtracting, clarifying. And every once in a while, the universe arrives to add something. That "something" today was while refining my very short chapter twelve. It's the Latin phrase, Memento mori. I had never heard that phrase before and yet, I heard it several times within a day or two. When that happens, it feels like a message is being sent. I understood. And I knew exactly where it was going to live in my manuscript. Look for it in the published book.

Oh, what does it mean? Momento mori— Remember (that you have) to die.
