The story writes itself?
The story writes itself?

It's not as if the book writes itself. Yet it does, in a way. It's hazy at first and I fervently write down the images and scenes that are forming in my mind. Then comes the fine tuning. Then editing. Then adding, subtracting, clarifying. And then, in my imagined final stages, the universe comes and adds something. That "something" today was while refining my very short chapter twelve. It's the Latin phrase, Memento mori. After it was repeated to me several times, I understood. I knew exactly where it was to live in my manuscript. I found a companion phrase. Look for it in the published book.

Oh, what does it mean? "Remember (that you have) to die.
