The Haserot Angel

After all of the initial excitement, the first draft completed, the hope of a publishing company interested in my work and the inauguration of this website, things went silent rather quickly. It is my belief that things happen for a reason and the initial interest of the first publishing company gave me just enough enthusiasm to begin a deep dive into my manuscript and begin chiseling it, clarifying it and adding scenes so the story in my head was one that all of my readers-to-be were able to enjoy. That is where I find myself today. With the help of a close friend, we've gone through the book initially and done some light work. Now we are in the middle of a deep dive into grammar and further tweaks and tucks.

The world of Eerie has a way of pulling me in and keeping me in its company over and over again. Just when I think I couldn't read a chapter one more time, I become engrossed in the story all over again. And before I know it, hours have passed.

But this weekend, there was a change.

Now it may not be apparent to anyone, anywhere, on the outside, but on the inside (of my head) a shift occurred over the weekend. As I have read through my book twice more and returned to the point I left off with the deep editing a story began to unfold.

Mia was moving on and an outline for book two began to appear.

And with the outline, of course, there had to be a little research.
